Happy World Elementary PTA

General (or Executive Board) Meeting

Month, Date, Year

The regular (or special) meeting of Happy World Elementary PTA was called to order on Month, Date, Year at 2:00 p.m. in the cafetorium of Happy World Elementary by president, Jane Leader, the secretary being present (or name acting as secretary). A quorum was established. Jane Leader led the pledge of allegiance, and Mary Goodthoughts presented an inspiration.

The minutes from the Month, Date, Year regular (or special) meeting of Happy World PTA were approved as distributed (or approved as corrected).

Lucy Moneypenny presented the treasurer’s report:

The report was filed for audit.

Officer reports:

Jane Leader presented the monthly president’s report.

Linda Memories reported she used three rolls of film on pictures at Summer Seminar, thus putting her over budget for the rest of the school year. Mary Goodthoughts moved that the Historian budget be increased by $50.00 to allow Linda to buy more film for future events. The motion was seconded and carried (or seconded and failed).

Chair reports:

Holly Hospitality reported that the refreshments for tonight’s meeting were donated by Community Food Store.

Standing Committee reports:

Susie Reading reported that volunteers are still needed for the Book Fair next week.

Unfinished Business:

Jane Leader reminded that there are still 50 spirit wear t-shirts available for purchase in the student store.

New Business:

No new business was brought before the association.

Announcements:

The next PTA meeting will be held on Month, Date at 2:00 p.m.

On-time drawings were awarded to Johnny On-the-Spot and Jenny Neverlate.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
