We had a great turnout with 69 teams bowling to raise funds for the Lewisville Education Foundation (LEF) Scholarships sponsored by the council.  It was the first year for several schools to participate, including the Special Education PTSA.

Sadly, the bowling alley had a difficult time in adding a few teams into the tournament and thus their scores are not available.  Fortunately, most of those effected took it in stride and bowled just for the fun. Morningside's scores were not complete, their scores showing way under what they bowled, so they get "lowest score". 

Hebron High School stuck to their team name of "No Pins Left Behind" and scored the highest of the tournament at 4122.  Scoring the highest on the junior side was the Polser Elementary team "The Polar 'Pin'guins #5" with 3452.

The costumes and team names were very creative.  "The Happy Swingers" from Shadow Ridge MS won best name at the 2 pm squad. Camey Elementary won best team name with "You Bowl Me Over" at the 11:30 am squad.  And Castle Hills Elementary won best team name for "The Bashful Bowlers" in the first squad at 9 am.

Best Costumes for the 1st and 2nd squads went to "Gutter Gals" and to the "Toilet Bowlers" both from Camey Elementary.  There were no costumes in the 3rd squad.

It was a full day and fun event, supporting a great cause!  Thanks to everyone for participating.
